Safeguarding Children & Adults Statement

Safeguarding means protecting someone’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect.

It is about people and organisations working together to prevent and stop abuse or neglect and ensuring wellbeing is promoted.

Broughton Corner Family Practice is committed to protecting Children and Adults and we make their welfare our highest priority. We ensure our staff receive regular training and liaise with other agencies when required.

If you have any concerns about a CHILD, please speak to anyone of our team, or you can call Croydon Council’s safeguarding team on 020 8726 6400

However, In an emergency, or if you believe a child is at immediate risk of harm call the police on 999​

If you feel it is urgent and requires immediate attention you can call 020 8726 6500, however if the person is in immediate danger call 999.
